Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Housing: How many staff made redundant at ministries, agencies and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023 were reappointed either directly (i.e., without a competitive process) or after reapplying through a competitive recruitment process?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities have not rehired/reappointed any employees made redundant since 27 November 2023.
