8001 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: How many teachers, if any, are currently on an Individual Employment Agreement?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education that, as at 1 March 2026, there were a total of 17,631 primary, secondary and area school teachers employed on Individual Employment Agreements (IEAs).
