8000 (2026). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: With reference to OIA H2025077093, what was the budgeted and the actual expenditure for Mental Health & Addictions (MH&A) for Quarter 1 2024/25 and Quarter 2 2024/25, if any?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised the budgeted expenditure for the Mental Health and Addictions output class in Quarter 1 2024/25 was $653 million, and actual expenditure was $650 million. For Quarter 2 2024/25, budgeted expenditure for the year to date was $1,325 million, and actual expenditure was $1,323 million. I am further advised this information is publicly available in Health New Zealand’s quarterly performance reports for the relevant quarters.
