7984 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Public Service: When, if ever, will the external review of the Public Service Commission's decision to fund social media ads regarding the 23 October 2025 strike, be published?

Hon Judith Collins: As outlined in paragraph 17 of the publicly available terms of reference https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/assets/DirectoryFile/Terms-of-Reference-Social-Media-Strike-Action.pdf, the Public Service Commission’s expectation is that the final report (or a summary of it) will be made publicly available, subject to any applicable privacy or other legal considerations. A final decision will be made on publication of the report at the conclusion of the review.
