7927 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: How many staff currently employed in the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have previously received a redundancy payout since 27 November 2023, and how many of these staff are employed in the same or similar roles to their previous roles?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that neither the Ministry nor NZTA has reappointed any employees who were made redundant between 27 November 2023 and 4 March 2025.
