7924 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Statistics: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible set budgetary provisions or caps for redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, what were those provisions?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that, since 27 November 2023, Stats NZ has not set caps for redundancy payments. I am also advised that Stats NZ’s provision held for redundancy is $193,307.69.
