Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Transport: How much time elapsed on average between a staff member’s redundancy date and their start date in a new role for those made redundant in the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible who were subsequently reappointed since 27 November 2023?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the Ministry has not reappointed any employees who were made redundant since 27 November 2023. I am advised that since 27 November 2023, NZTA has not reappointed any staff members who were made redundant as part of an NZTA organisational change process.
