7912 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for the Public Service: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible set budgetary provisions or caps for redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, what were those provisions?

Hon Judith Collins: For the Public Service Commission’s redundancy (restructuring) provisions, I refer the member to page 94 of the Public Service Commission’s 2023/24 annual report which is publicly available on the Commission’s website at the following link: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/news/introducing-our-2024-annual-report No further provisions have been made this financial year.
