7906 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible set budgetary provisions or caps for redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, what were those provisions?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I refer the Member to the Ministry's 2023/24 Annual Report: https://www.health.govt.nz/system/files/2024-11/Ministry-of-Health-Annual-Report-for-the-year-ended-30-June-2024.pdf. I am advised that Health New Zealand does not set such budgetary provisions.
