7899 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How much time elapsed on average between a staff member’s redundancy date and their start date in a new role for those made redundant in the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible who were subsequently reappointed since 27 November 2023?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that there was a period of 108 days for one Ministry employee and on average 118.3 days for Health NZ employees between their previous redundancy related termination date and their subsequent start date.
