7891 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Customs: Has the minister reviewed and/or approved cost saving plans relating to their departments, ministries and agencies (where applicable within their portfolio), if any, and if so, what relevant advice have they received, listed by title and date?

Hon Casey Costello: Decisions relating to cost saving plans are the responsibility of the agency’s Chief Executive. However, I have been kept informed by the Comptroller of Customs as these cost saving plans have been developed.
