Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many staff currently employed in the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have previously received a redundancy payout since 27 November 2023, and how many of these staff are employed in the same or similar roles to their previous roles?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand does not have employees who received redundancy payments and remained in the same or similar role within WorkSafe. WorkSafe also does not capture information regarding where former employees are employed and their new roles.
