7853 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many staff currently employed in the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible have previously received a redundancy payout since 27 November 2023, and how many of these staff are employed in the same or similar roles to their previous roles?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that between 27 November 2023 and 3 March 2025, three employees have been rehired after being made redundant. Two of these employees have been hired in similar roles.
