7845 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Pacific Peoples: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible set budgetary provisions or caps for redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, what were those provisions?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised by the Ministry for Pacific People that no budget provisions were made for Redundancy. Redundancy caps are set within the employees Individual Employment Agreement (IEA).
