7827 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Land Information: Have any of the ministries, agencies, and/or departments for which the Minister is responsible set budgetary provisions or caps for redundancy payments since 27 November 2023; if so, what were those provisions?

Hon Chris Penk: Land Information New Zealand tested affordability as part of developing consultation proposals, this included the provision for possible redundancy payments. All redundancy payments are in line with the relevant individual’s employment agreement.
