Hon Penny Simmonds: The Ministry for the Environment has not made any staff redundant and subsequently rehired as a consultant during this time. The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has made 13 people redundant since 27 November 2023. The EPA has not rehired any previous staff members who were made redundant as a consultant or contractor.
