7755 (2026). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister for Disability Issues: Has the Minister taken advice to the Minister of Transport on any impact that changes to the Total Mobility subsidy will have for disabled people?

Hon Louise Upston: I have received advice from officials on the impacts of changes to the Total Mobility subsidy. I can advise that the Ministry of Transport is consulting the disability and wider community on proposals to strengthen Total Mobility to ensure fairer, consistent, and more sustainable access, alongside the reduction to the subsidy that comes into effect from 1 July 2026.
