7680 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister for Energy: In light of the conflict in the Persian Gulf area, has the Fuel Sector Coordinating Entity been activated?

Hon Simon Watts: No. The Fuel Sector Coordinating Entity has not been formally activated as per the National Fuel plan. It has however been convened and is meeting regularly.
