7621 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Climate Change: What actions, if any, are currently underway for progressing maritime decarbonisation and supply chain resilience?

Hon Simon Watts: Under the Climate Change portfolio, no actions are currently being progressed regarding maritime decarbonisation and supply chain resilience. However, I am aware of work across government to support maritime decarbonisation and supply chain resilience, including at the Ministry of Transport, Maritime New Zealand, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.
