7613 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Finance: How, if at all, do the ministries, agencies and departments for which the Minister is responsible, define ‘frontline’ staff and ‘back-office’ staff?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that there is no definition of frontline and back-office. As an agency that provides few services directly to the public, the Treasury classifies all staff as back office.
