7590 (2025). Hon Barbara Edmonds to the Minister for Infrastructure: How many infrastructure projects, if any, in the National Infrastructure Pipeline have faced delays due to issues with market-readiness or funding constraints in the past year?

Hon Chris Bishop: The National Infrastructure Pipeline provides a central view of infrastructure project activity that is in planning and delivery across New Zealand. Insights from the Pipeline provide the industry with information to help coordinate, prioritise, schedule, and plan their projects and investments. Information in the Pipeline is provided by central government, local government and private sector organisations involved in providing infrastructure services and reflects the current state of their infrastructure planning and investment intentions. The Commission’s December Pipeline Snapshot report includes information indicating that most adjustments occur for projects that are in the early planning stages.
