Hon Penny Simmonds: I am advised by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) that the Auckland Schools Teachers Development Trust (trading as ‘The Teachers’ Institute’) has reported 48 learners supported through TEC funding in 2025. Caveats: • Data is as at 10-Mar-2026 for the 2025 reporting years and has been sourced through administrative data held by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC). • 2025 data is interim and has not been finalised. Values are therefore subject to revision as data is updated. • Data is limited to domestic learners who are eligible for TEC funding only. • Results are based on information reported through the Single Data Return (SDR) for the purposes of funding tertiary education. The data does not include any reporting outside of the SDR and relies on the accuracy of data reported by TEOs.
