7525 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: How many, if any, endorsements has the Minister and/or the Ministry received regarding palatability of the meals provided by the School Lunch Collective to schools since Term 1, 2025; listed by no. of endorsements regarding palatability?

Hon David Seymour: The Ministry and SLC have received positive feedback from schools since the start of Term 1, 2025. The Ministry and area managers are also receiving positive comments when they visit schools. An official record of positive comments from schools is not maintained so asking the ministry to collate that material would require substantial collation and research and prevent them from undertaking their substantive roles. I do not consider this to be in the public interest. I am focused on continual improvement of the school lunch programme.
