Hon Shane Jones: Extensive research was undertaken and independently reviewed in 2018 under the ‘Squid 6T Operational Plan Technical Advisory Group’. I am advised that no further measures are being undertaken to improve understanding of sea lion interactions with trawl nets and sealion exclusion devices (SLEDs) at this time.
