7494 (2024). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: How many submissions in support of removing Fishing Related Mortality Limits for sea lions were received by Fisheries New Zealand in their consultation on the Southern Squid Trawl Fishery (SQU 6T) Operational Plan and sea lion protection; who were the submitters who supported the removal?

Hon Shane Jones: I am advised that two submissions were received in support of removing the Fishing Related Mortality Limit for sea lions in SQU6T. The submitters who supported the removal were Deepwater Council and Sealord Group Limited.
