7470 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: What action, if any, has he taken to progress his priority to grow timely access to addiction support?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand contributed $500,000 to the Ki te Ara Whakamua: Māori Community Addiction Fund's 2024 round of grants. An external panel selected 29 applicants to receive grants to fund addiction health promotion and prevention initiatives.
