7450 (2024). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence: In response to Reply 6474 (2024); what does she consider her responsibilities for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence to be?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am responsible for leading the whole-of-government approach to substantially prevent, reduce, and address family and sexual violence, and for the Executive Board for the Elimination of Family Violence and Sexual Violence (Te Puna Aonui). The role of the Executive Board includes to monitor, support and coordinate the implementation of Te Aorerekura and other cross portfolio initiatives and to manage relationships between government and the sector.
