7432 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Has Kāinga Ora conducted any internal audit or review of its chattel replacement billing practices in the last three years; and if so, what were the findings?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it has recently reviewed its charging for damage debt processes. That review identified opportunities to improve clarity, consistency and alignment, resulting in updated guidance and training for the charging of damages.
