7415 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Justice: How many other candidates, if any, were considered for the role of Law Commission President around the time that Professor Amokura Kawharu was appointed, and how many, if any, were interviewed?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: That appointment was made under a previous government. I am advised by my officials that two candidates were shortlisted and interviewed at that time.
