7408 (2024). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Prime Minister: What reports, briefings, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice, if any, has he received that warrants the Phone Ban as a “raving success”, listed by who the advice was received from, title and date received?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: I have not received any advice from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet on the success of the ban on cell phones in schools, however, I have had regular discussions with the Minister of Education on feedback on the success of this policy. Further, I have also read and listened to numerous media articles confirming the success of banning cell phones in school.
