7406 (2026). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: What, if any, plans are in place to address the Auditor-General's feedback on the New Zealand Health Plan 2024-2027 that "I expected the plan to be based on clear and reasonable assumptions about health needs and the expected quantity of service demand, the resources needed to provide those services, and the forecast cost of those resources. The plan does not do this."?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the New Zealand Health Plan sits alongside several other mechanisms that collectively provide clear and transparent expectations and accountabilities for Health New Zealand’s performance. These include: • The Statement of Performance Expectations • The Health Delivery Plan • Health NZ production plans • Regular performance reporting.
