Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: Will his changes to the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act mean the New Zealand Health Plan no longer has to be audited, and if so, was this change made before or after the Auditor-General's feedback on the current Health Plan, that "The plan developed by Health New Zealand does not meet my expectations for a costed plan"?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the Healthy Futures (Pae Ora) Amendment Bill will require the New Zealand Health Plan (the Plan) to set out how Health New Zealand's key services and activities will be funded along with its anticipated revenue and expenditure for the period covered by the Plan.
