Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Minister responsible for Ministerial Services: Is the Minister aware of any concerns or complaints raised between 27 November 2023 and 24 February 2025 by any individual employed within the public service regarding the behaviour or conduct of any individual within a Ministerial office, and if so, which office, on what date were any concerns or complaints raised, and what was the outcome?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: "As Minister Responsible for Ministerial Services, I am not involved in any individual employment matters. Employment issues involving individuals working in Ministerial offices are directly managed by Ministerial Services at the Department of Internal Affairs. As is normal in any workplace, sometimes concerns and issues are raised. Ministerial Services has robust processes established so they can address issues appropriately if and when they arise, and ensure staff are well supported."
