7340 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: How many, if any, young people can Oranga Tamariki currently safely accommodate at Whakatakapokai youth justice facility?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that as of 27 February 2025, Whakatakapokai has a safe operating capacity of six young people.
