7325 (2026). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Education: Of the 11 school bus routes in Gisborne that will be redesigned, what is the proposed new route for each service, including changes to pick-up and drop-off locations?

Hon Erica Stanford: Following a recommendation from the Ministry of Education (the Ministry), I have agreed to the Ministry undertaking a wide-ranging review of its school transport policy settings. While this work is underway, I have agreed with the Ministry’s advice to pause the implementation of the Term 2, 2026 changes to its Gisborne school bus services. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 7326 and 7327 (2026).
