7322 (2026). Hon Jo Luxton to the Minister of Education: What, if any, correspondence has the Minister had with the Minister for Rural Communities regarding the cancelling of rural school bus routes, and what steps are being taken to address the impact on rural communities, if any?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have not had correspondence with the Minister for Rural Communities on this matter. I am advised by the Ministry of Education that they conduct consultation on bus route reviews, and take that consultation into consideration.
