Hon Karen Chhour: Oranga Tamariki understand the Government’s expectation that a social investment approach be applied to the commissioning of social services that are appropriate and necessary to ensure the wellbeing and safety of children in their care. No specific directions have been given to Oranga Tamariki on how to incorporate this approach into their operating model.
