7314 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister of Housing: What advice, briefings, reports, or any other document, if any, did the Ministry produce on the impact of the Environment (Disestablishment of Ministry for the Environment) Amendment Bill, listed by title and date?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (the Ministry) did not produce any advice on the impact of the Environment (Disestablishment of Ministry for the Environment) Amendment Bill, as policy responsibility for the Bill sat with the Ministry for the Environment. Note that the Ministry did provide limited input on other agency advice on consequential impacts for Housing instruments. These small number of papers contained only high-level commentary and did not include impact analysis of the Bill.
