7293 (2026). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Immigration: How many, if any, people have held a temporary work visa and been ordinarily resident in New Zealand for at least the previous 5 years?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that as at 9 March 2026, the number of people who currently hold a work visa and have held a work visa in the preceding five years, that have been ordinarily resident in New Zealand for at least five years is 10,021.
