Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) are not forecasting a material impact on the value of unclaimed and uncollected tenancy bonds. MBIE are developing and building a new bond management system that will enable customers to conduct tenancy bond transactions online. The new bond system will increase automation, enabling timely and accurate return of bond money and reducing unreturned money.
