7174 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to WPQ 5301 (2026), on what date was the analysis referred to in the Minister’s reply completed, and which agency or agencies contributed to that analysis?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA advised me the analysis was completed at several points throughout the auditing process – at the time of the initial risk assessment (circa June 2025), in consideration of what (if any) offer should be made to each impacted individual to evidence their ability to drive commercially on New Zealand roads safely (November 2025), and to provide an updated view to the Director of Land Transport (February 2026). NZTA holds all required information to undertake the analysis and therefore did not involve other agencies.
