7140 (2024). Cushla Tangaere-Manuel to the Minister of Forestry: How much did the Minister’s relevant Ministries, Agencies and Departments spend on contractors and consultants between 1 April 2024 to 14 April 2024 by organisation?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is unable to report contractor and consultant expenditure actually incurred for the period of a fortnight as invoices are often received after the period worked, often cover a monthly duration and do not provide weekly breakdowns, and several contracts and payment arrangements are milestone based rather than fortnightly work activity.
