7115 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many people, if any, have applied for citizenship under section 7A of the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that a total of 2,382 individuals have applied for a grant of citizenship under section 7A of the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982 for the period 26 November 2024, when the amendment to the Act came into force, to 3 March 2026.
