7093 (2025). Tamatha Paul to the Minister of Police: What requests for intervention, if any, did the New Zealand Police receive in relation to the Rotokākahi protest and from who?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that in January 2025 Rotorua Lakes Council contacted Police and advised that work on the Tarawera Sewerage Scheme was recommencing and that there was likely to be protest activity at the site.
