Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: In response to Reply 4920 (2025), if meals from the School Lunch Collective are "made with Halal certified beef and chicken ingredients, and they do not contain pork or pork containing ingredients" then why are Muslim students receiving ham in their "Halal Friendly" meals?

Hon David Seymour: No students should be receiving a Halal lunch with pork or pork ingredients. I am advised that an error was previous made in the delivery of meals to Muslim students.
