7020 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: In response to Reply 4764 (2025), how much money, if any, has the Ministry of Education tasked the School Lunch Collective to reimburse schools and/or staff for having to buy food due to quality, quantity, or late delivery of meals in the Ka Ora, Ka Ako programme?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised that the Ministry of Education is assisting schools with reimbursement for the cost of the purchase of additional food items due to delivery challenges. Schools will invoice the Ministry and include receipts for the food items purchased. The total cost reimbursed to schools will be claimed from the School Lunch Collective after the end of term reporting.
