6990 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October – December 2023) toward ‘working with low-income mostly Māori and Pacific whānau’ as discussed in the ‘Healthy Homes Initiative: Three-year outcomes evaluation’ report?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that in the October – December 2023 quarter there was an increase in the delivery of intervention during the quarter, which included Healthy Homes education, advocacy, home insulation, and curtains. I am also advised that HHI providers work in collectives that are either Māori-led or are in partnership with Māori and Pacific organisations.
