Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Associate Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October - December 2023) in implementing the objective ‘improve drink driving countermeasures’ under ‘Pillar 1: Policy Change’ within the National Alcohol Harm Minimisation Framework 2022?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that Health New Zealand does not report against this framework. I am further advised that Health New Zealand is not involved in implementing drink-driving counter-measures, which is the responsibility of New Zealand Police.
