6965 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the last quarter (October - December 2023) toward the outcome ‘Increase in cross-sectoral work to address other socioeconomic determinants’ under ‘focus area one: whānau ora (Determinants of wellbeing and primary prevention)’ within the Rheumatic Fever Roadmap?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that in the October – December 2023 quarter, Health New Zealand and the Ministry of Health strengthened relationships with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Ministry of Social Development (MSD) through the provision of evidence-based advice on the impact of housing on health.
