6944 (2024). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What is the total number of calls received by MSD call centres during week of 8th April, broken down by region?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that their Contact Centres operate virtually and aren’t geographically routed, which means the Ministry is unable to break down volumes and wait times by region. For the week of Monday 8 April 2024 to Saturday 13 April 2024, the Ministry Contact Centres answered 91,972 calls with the average speed to answer of 7 minutes and 2 seconds. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 6946 (2024).
